Yes, Kakashi Hatake from the Naruto series has post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After witnessing the death of his best friend Obito Uchiha and being betrayed by another mentor in White Zetsu, Kakashi developed a degree of PTSD that caused him to suffer nightmares and become reclusive. He even resorted to questioning whether or not he was worthy of teaching the younger generations in order to protect them from experiencing what he did. Through various therapy sessions with Tsunade and others, Kakashi eventually worked through some of his trauma but was still left dealing with its effects which were often evidenced through flashbacks and emotional outbursts when a subject related to it came up.

He keeps mostly to himself and has little communication or interaction with those around him – often responding apathetically or cryptically even to close colleagues like Guy Sensei – further suggesting he suffers from PTSD-like symptoms.

In addition to this circumstantial evidence, flashbacks revealed during Kakashi Gaiden also showcased terrible atrocities of war that left profound psychological scars on young Kakashi. One explanation is that Kakashi is simply a more emotionally distant person than his peers. Since an early age, Kakashi has been incredibly focused and driven to protect Konoha through ninja training and executing missions. Being hailed as a hero during the Third Great Shinobi War meant that extra pressure was put on him to maintain this level of excellence which would require unwavering dedication from Kakashi. As such, eschewing close emotional bonds and withdrawing into himself seemed like the best way to keep his goals in sight.

It’s also possible that Kakashi’s withdrawn nature results from his intense feeling of guilt regarding Obito’s death. Although Kakashi had no control over the circumstances which led up to it, having failed to protect Obito and doing nothing while watching him die would haunt anyone’s psyche forever. In trying to cope with this trauma, he may have chosen solitary silence as a method of dealing with the shame and sadness associated with those events without letting them get in the way of fulfilling his mission objectives as per usual.
